About Lauren Peate
Lauren Peate has been interested in photography since a young age. She took several photography classes in high school, which includes an independent study class she created. Senior year of high school, Lauren had a photography internship at the local newspaper, the Salem Observer. She attended the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University for four years, receiving her BFA in Photography May 2009. She spent a semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Her work has been in exhibitions at both AIB's Gallery South and 601 Newbury Street. It has also been in a juried exhibition and publication of AIB's Taking In in 2008. She loves meeting new people and photographing their memories. Lauren is available for any freelance.
